Sacred Transformation · For Practices
Your care doesn’t end
when the appointment does.
The most important parts of pregnancy often happen
in the hundreds of hours between moments of care.
What if those hours became part of the care your practice provides?
Imagine…
You’ve probably seen it countless times.
Someone leaves your office carrying a question they didn’t know how to ask while they were sitting with you. A partner wants to help but doesn’t know how. A family senses that something much bigger than pregnancy is unfolding but can’t quite find words for it. Someone recognizes a pattern from their own childhood and quietly wonders, Can our family begin differently?
Those moments rarely happen during appointments. They happen afterwards.
Imagine if every family had somewhere to return during those hours—not instead of your care, but because of it. A place to reflect before making difficult decisions. A place to continue conversations with a partner. A place that reminds them they aren’t only preparing for birth or navigating uncertainty—they’re moving through one of life’s great thresholds.
Now imagine those families returning to your practice.
Not with fewer questions, but with better ones. Not expecting you to have every answer, but better able to describe what they’re carrying. Not less connected to your care, but more deeply engaged with it.
The appointments don’t become longer. They become richer.
Your care reaches farther than your calendar ever could.
And imagine your practice.
Whether you’re a midwifery practice, therapy group, fertility clinic, birth center, doula collective, or another organization serving growing families—every practice has its own philosophy of care. Every practice expresses that philosophy differently. Some emphasize continuity of care. Others emphasize physiological birth, informed choice, relationship-centered care, or intentionally creating space for the emotional and relational dimensions of pregnancy.
Whatever shape your care takes, it becomes part of what families remember.
One of the reasons we chose your practice was because we felt cared for as whole people.
Imagine having a way to accompany families through the hundreds of hours between appointments—with something that reflects the same care they experience when they’re with you.
And imagine where that might lead.
Over the past century, we’ve transformed maternity care. Advances in medicine have made pregnancy and birth dramatically safer, and that work continues to save lives every day.
I wonder what becomes possible if we become equally intentional about accompanying the human transformation unfolding alongside the physical one.
Pregnancy is one of the rare seasons in adult life when profound change is already underway. Identity is shifting. Relationships are evolving. Old stories are surfacing. New possibilities are emerging.
No single resource determines what a person, a family, or a relationship becomes. But accompaniment matters. Every conversation matters. Every moment of greater awareness matters.
Perhaps that is how cultures change—not all at once, but one person, one family, one practice, and one generation at a time.
That’s why I created In Awe
A companion for the hours between appointments.
For several years, I’ve immersed myself in understanding pregnancy not only as a medical journey, but as one of life’s most profound human transitions. I kept returning to the same question: What would it look like if we accompanied this transformation with the same intentionality that we bring to so many other aspects of maternity care?
In Awe is my answer. It isn’t medical care. It isn’t therapy. It’s designed to deepen your care by giving families somewhere to continue the journey between visits.
Guided reflections and companion journals
Partner pathways—a genuine path, not a support manual
Advocacy tools and practical guidance
Threshold rituals and grounding practices
Around the World—ancestral perspectives across six continents
Postpartum support that continues beyond birth
Loving Legacies—a complete companion path for families navigating pregnancy or infant loss, always freely available
How it fits into care
Care that continues between appointments.
Every practice is different, and together we’ll discover what feels most natural for your team and the families you serve. A typical rhythm might look something like this:
First visit
You welcome families into In Awe as part of the care your practice provides.
Between visits
Families continue the journey between appointments through reflections, journals, practical guidance, and conversations designed for this season of life.
Next appointment
They return with greater clarity about what they’re experiencing and better language for the conversations that matter.
Partners join the journey
Partners have their own path through the experience, inviting them into active participation rather than observation.
Birth preparation
Threshold rituals and advocacy tools help families move toward birth with grounding, not just information.
Postpartum
In Awe continues. The journey doesn’t end at birth, and neither does the support.
If loss comes
Loving Legacies holds the family. The care you extended doesn’t disappear when outcomes change.
Making In Awe part of your care
The Practice License
Every Practice License gives your team everything needed to make In Awe part of the care every family receives.
Rather than referring families elsewhere, your practice makes In Awe part of the care families receive from you.
Our first year together is intentionally collaborative. We’ll learn from your practice, your families, and your experience, shaping an approach that genuinely reflects the way you care.
Some organizations begin by integrating In Awe throughout their care model from day one. Others begin with the families they feel most called to serve and expand as the partnership evolves. Together, we’ll discover what best reflects your practice and the families in your care.
Every Practice License includes
- Full access for your clinical team
- Collaborative onboarding and implementation
- A dedicated landing page for your practice
- Printed and digital materials for your families
- Ongoing support as In Awe becomes part of your care
- Annual In Awe enrollment for every family covered by your Practice License
Every Practice License is designed around the size of your practice and the families you serve. During our conversation, we’ll explore what makes the most sense for your practice today—and how that may evolve over time.
This is an annual license. At renewal, we’ll revisit together—what you’ve learned, how your practice has grown, and what the next year should look like.
A note from the founder
What I hope we’re building toward
Sacred Transformation has never been about convincing people that pregnancy is meaningful. It’s about asking what becomes possible when we accompany this season of life more intentionally—when we give the inner journey the same care, curiosity, and attention that we already bring to so many other aspects of pregnancy.
I don’t know exactly what maternity care will look like a generation from now. I do know what I hope it looks like.
I hope every person who passes through this extraordinary threshold feels thoughtfully accompanied, whatever path their journey ultimately takes. I hope every practice has meaningful ways to extend its care beyond the appointment. And I hope that, together, we help make this kind of accompaniment something people simply come to expect.
If that future resonates with you, I’d love to begin a conversation.

Let’s get to know each other
Let’s begin a conversation.
Every practice is different, and the strongest partnerships begin with listening. I’d love to learn about your practice, the families you serve, and what you’re hoping to create. From there, we’ll explore whether a Practice License feels like the right fit—and if it does, we’ll design an approach that reflects your care, your community, and your vision.
Thank you.
I read every response personally and reply myself. I’m looking forward to learning about your practice.
